The Sedation Options We Offer

We deliberately keep it to these two options. IV and general anesthesia belong in settings staffed for them — for the rare case that needs deeper sedation, we refer honestly instead of stretching.

Nitrous oxide (laughing gas): breathed through a small nose mask, it takes the edge off within minutes — and wears off within minutes too, so you can drive yourself home.
Oral sedation: a prescribed pill taken before your visit that brings deep relaxation. You stay awake and responsive, but calm — and most patients remember very little afterward. You'll need a ride home.
